Global Opportunities (GO) MissionTeams head out from Northland all summer long to minister the Gospel incross-cultural contexts. The teams target strategic sites primarily in creativeaccess nations while including additional sites that serve as conduits to theselargely forsaken areas.
These teams undergo training byNorthland faculty and staff who then accompany the team to the field. Eachmember of the team, whether staff or student, participates in a hands-on way toaccomplish the work of the ministry. Because some areas are closed totraditional missions, we need to be creative in our approach. These trips aremore than a simple cross-cultural experience. They involve intensive trainingand on-the-field participation from each team member. Platforms such as sportsministry, English teaching, and cultural immersion become natural modes ofsharing the message of Christ.
